9-O-Butylberberrubinium bromide
In the title compound, C(23)H(24)NO(4) (+)·Br(-), the butyl chain is disordered between two conformations; the occupancies refined to 0.735 (7) and 0.265 (7). The dihedral angle between the naphthalene ring system and the phenyl ring is 11.6 (2)°. In the crystal structure, the cations are packed via π-π inter-actions into stacks propagating in the [010] direction. Weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O and...
متن کاملRocuronium Bromide Versus Vecuronium Bromide
BACKGROUND: Rocuronium Bromide is a newer, low potency nondepolarising neuromuscular blocking agent. It is proven to be five to seven times less potent than vecuronium. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effectiveness of 2ED95 (2 times effective dose 95) dose (0.6mg/kg) of rocuronium with regard to onset time, the intubating conditions and the duration of action and to compare it w...
متن کاملSynthesis of Triethyl Propargyl Ammonium Bromide from Triethyl Amine With Propargyl Bromide
The reaction between trimethylamine with propargyl bromide was studied and the structure of triethyl propargyl ammonium bromide was illustrated by 1HNMR, IR, and Mass spectra.
متن کاملCharacterization of propargyl bromide transformation in soil.
Propargyl bromide is being investigated for its potential as a soil fumigant. Characterization of the fate of propargyl bromide in soil is important in determining both efficacy and the threat of environmental contamination. These experiments investigated some of the factors affecting the rate of propargyl bromide degradation in soil and quantified some of the products formed as a result of pro...
متن کاملComparative potency of pipecuronium bromide and pancuronium bromide.
Cumulative dose-response curves were constructed to determine the comparative potency of pipecuronium and pancuronium. From these, the ED50 and ED95 values were calculated. These were 24.96 micrograms kg-1 and 44.96 micrograms kg-1, respectively, for pipecuronium and 30.42 micrograms kg-1 and 61.12 micrograms kg-1, respectively, for pancuronium.
